Did you experience these? What did they feel like? How long did they last? Were they painful or just more annoying than anything else?

Had lots and lots of BH. They're weren't painful. Just lots of tightening and discomfort. In my 3rd trimester I got them really often. Thought they were contractions because they came every 7 mins or so at times.

Not painful at all. Just my uterus tightening. I've had them since about 16 weeks pregnant and they last about a minute or less for me. Getting them more in this final trimester.

I had so many! They're just a tightening of your belly for a minute or so... and I had them every few minutes - SO ANNOYING!

I have felt them since 16 weeks, they are usually just uncomfortable/heavy feeling, and last about a minute at a time.

I've just recently started noticing them...around 23-24 weeks. They don't hurt at all - just a gradual tightening, belly feels hard, then a gradual relaxing, and belly is squishy again. Definitely a similar 'wave' idea to what a labor contraction will eventually feel like.

I just started noticing them about a week ago, between 35 and 36 weeks. I seem to get them a lot when I am at work. My midwife said that she thinks that something is bothering my uterus, and it's likely because I sit in a desk chair all day and my upper body is totally compressed...ugh.
At this point, I get them VERY often. They don't hurt, they just feel strange and are more annoying than anything!

I had BH without realizing it for the last month or so of my pregnancy. To me it felt like LO was pressing against my lower abdomen. I figured she was running out of room and trying to stretch out. I didn't know that it was actually contractions and not just baby movements until I had a NST.

I started getting them at 27 weeks. At first, they were really random and were just a tightening and hardening of my uterus- if you look at your stomach when you are having them, you can see your stomach take on a new shape. They didn't hurt. The general rule of thumb is that if you are getting them, drink a lot of water and rest.
My OB instructed me to call if I had them every 15 mins (or more frequently). The big thing about BH is that sometimes they are difficult to distinguish from real contractions (which is accompanied by low back pain or uterine cramping).
For me, over the course of 3 weeks, they became more frequent and they never went away with water or rest. Then I developed real contractions (which for me, felt like a BH contraction with menstrual cramps).
