S/he was brave and it was a great interview. I hope she finds happiness and is surrounded in love by her family. I can't imagine living through that life let alone in the spotlight.

Intertwining Bruce ' s journey with other Transgendered people really made the entire interview impactful. I have more empathy for people born in the wrong body. Now I can see why school aged Transgendered people want to use the opposite sex's bathroom. Before this program I was unsure I felt about the bathroom thing, but now I will gladly explain what transgender means to my kids. Pre op or Post op or if someone ever elects to ever get an operation living in a shell is hard.
