OK. So I am going to have a newborn in a few months (eek!).
I currently have a Moby Wrap and an Ergo. The Moby was a freakin' lifestyle when W was an infant.
I think I will babywear even MORE this time around because it will free up my hands and allow me to stay active with DD #1.
My question is: Is the Moby a good enough option for babywearing a newborn/young infant? I keep reading about slings, ring slings, and woven wraps. What are the benefits of these carriers over the Moby?
Is there a situation I would use a sling over a Moby? Is a woven wrap better than a Moby? Why? Can you even carry newborns in ring slings?
I know nothing about the alternative types of carriers out there, but I really want to become a babywearing expert. Please enlighten me and tell me--if I should buy another carrier, what should it be? What are the pros and cons?
ETA: I am not worried about "being too hot" since I will be baby wearing through the winter months.
