Ugh, I've been calling one of LO's teachers DEBBIE for 5 months. She finally corrected me today and told me her name is Heidi. I feel like a moron and I have no idea where I came up with Debbie!

Yeah I say that's on her that she let it go for 5 MONTHS!!! People call me the wrong name all the time (a name that is very similar, but not my name) and I always politely correct them right away.

@Andrea: @MamaMoose: I know, right?!! I was picking up LO the other day when a new parent was touring the center and I heard the director introduce that teacher as Heidi. I smirked to myself and assumed the director was scatterbrained! hahahha!

Aww. Don't feel too bad, it happens to me a lot. The worst is when I try to correct people and they still get it wrong.

I had to go to our daycare's website to check on the teacher's names when we first started. I'd already been introduced to them a few times and just couldn't remember their names and didn't want to ask again.

People say my name wrong all the time but I always correct them right then to avoid a situation like this. How awkward! I agree that it's on her for waiting so long! I once had someone call me Vaughn and that is nowhere close to my name. It was weird.
