Last night we ordered pizza because DH was watching hockey and I was dealing with some paperwork. The pizza guy couldn't find our house and they never can! Everytime we order pizza we are in the driveway waving them down! Our house number is hard to see if its dark, but it was still daylight!
Is your house easy to find for the pizza delivery person?

Yep! We're on the very outskirts of their delivery area so it always takes a while though

When we first started ordering pizza from our pizza place, they never could find our house! They would always call and I'd have to give directions and try to wave them down. But now... we order so much pizza, they know EXACTLY where we are! I even recognize the delivery guy because I see him so much!

No. Our front door faces a street that doesn't have a name. It's very confusing. I don't really blame them.

I haven't ordered delivery pizza, but other people seem to have problems finding it. I think the issue is that there's no numbers on out house...just on the mailbox, but it's right next to the mailbox of the people across the street, who also don't have numbers on their house.

We've never had numbers on our house and somehow they always manage to find it... maybe they just go by our neighbours' numbers!

Hm. I always pick up our pizza so dunno, but I would assume they could because it's not far from the pizza place and like Illumina suggested, they could go by our neighbor's house number to find ours (I think).

@MamaJ: That is so frustrating! We actually had our house # painted on the edge of the driveway/curb so they could find it...

They can always find our driveway, but our driveway has house A and house B. We're in house A, which is the first house, and we tell them this everytime, but they always end up driving to B and try to give our pizza to them! It's only been a problem once where our neighbors legit stole our pizza before we realized it was delivered. Ever since then we watch for the pizza guy and flag him down!

Ugh, so aggravating!
Thankfully, ours is very easy to find. Especially since the place we usually order from is right around the corner. Yes, I'm a lazy bastard who doesn't wanna drive around the corner...or get dressed in more appropriate clothes.

Apparently not. Quick story: the first weekend we moved into our home I witnessed one of my neighbors giving a pizza guy hell. The neighbor was waiting hours for the pizza and the delivery guy just kept saying he got turned around. I don't remember the pizza place. We always pick up our pizza.

Yes, which always surprises me a little since we're at the back of an in the middle of nowhere complex, but they've never had any problems finding us. I was feeding E outside last week and a delivery guy from another pizza company stopped and asked me for directions, though (to an apartment in my complex).

Yup, but we've only ever ordered the pizza during the day. I have no idea if a driver could see our house numbers from the street!

Yes, for a while. We live on a corner and just built our house about 2 years ago. Technically our house has 2 addresses - one for each street. We inadvertently chose the "secondary" address and it wasn't recognized in the post office system or online maps like Google. So delivery guys would program our address into their gps and it would say our address didn't exist.

Ha! The pizza guy doesn't even come out this far, lol, but Google, nor any GPS system, can ever find our address either.

@Dandelion: I know! They weren't very good neighbors/tenants in general and were kicked out shortly after the pizza incident, but until then we were holding a grudge pretty bad.
