We heard that Charlie threw up during nap time yesterday and then noticed that he didn't eat much dinner last night. We feared he was going to wake up sick...
Sure enough, he threw up again just after going to bed, coughed all night and then woke up with a 100 degree fever! 
Do you have a second sense for when your LO is getting sick?

The LO gets runny noses once in a while. So I can tell only when the snot starts to come out!

Aww poor Charlie!
So far LO really hasn't gotten that sick. She had a cold once, but we had no clue it was coming. She sneezes a lot anyway.

poor Charlie I guess that explains the meltdowns over the weekend!! That's how we can usually tell when Wagon Jr. is getting sick... he starts to be really really cranky.

Oh no! LO has only gotten sick twice. Both very mild with only congestion. I hate it though.

I'm pregnant with my first so I can't attest to her specifically but when one of my students is getting sick I can typically tell because I spend so much time with them every day. I had a little boy last week that I had to wake up 6 times during a math lesson even after getting a drink, going to the bathroom, etc. so I could tell he was getting sick. Sure enough, he was home the next day with strep.

I totally know; DD just doesn't seem like herself, and I can always tell she's getting sick when her eyes start to look tired.

Poor Charlie!! I feel so bad when kids get sick.
The first sign of sickness is usually a runny nose so I can tell he's going to get sick once I see runny boogies.

We can always tell by his mood. Both our LOs are sick currently. I feel like we can't get a healthy stretch these days.

I can tell when children and adults are getting sick, it's weird and I HATE it. I can smell it when they talk, and I don't have to be close. I smells like metal. BLECH!!!
That's usually I differentiate between cold and allergies.
