I'm thinking about buying a car seat canopy, but the whole caboodle set seems enticing as well. If it were you, would you just get the car seat canopy or the whole caboodle?

I think if you hunt a little online, you can probably find a free code for these so all you have to do is pay the shipping and handling. And I think there's a huge deduction on the whole kit if you decide to go with it.

yes there are free codes for the canopy all over, I never got a canopy until it got cold and I bought the JJcole shower cap style cover

Is the whole kit worth it though? The factory car seat covers don't seem too bad so I'd hate to waste money on the whole caboodle if mom's found it unnecessary.

@Alivoo01: I can't say. I got the code more than a few times but I didn't invest in it because for the most part, I didn't get out that much and it was spring/summer when I was using the infant carrier car seat. By autumn, when I would have liked a little more padding to keep him warm, we had switched to a convertible car seat. I just made due with an Aiden & Anais blanket over the top of the baby if I was trying to keep the sun off him!

Are the whole seat covers safe? I think it voids the carseat warranty. I guess because they car seat straps may not function properly with untested fabric in an accident?
It wasn't worth the risk for me to just look pretty. We just used the cover that came with our carseat.
