Where do I put a rear facing infant carseat in a trailblazer?
The center of the seat doesn't have a latch so we would have to use the seatbelt. We could use a latch on the side of the seats, but thats closest to the door.. Whats the safest?

Typically they say if you can't put it in the middle, it should go behind the drivers seat. Apparently drivers tent to unconsiously protect their side of the car so it's safer. Your best bet is to go to a local car seat fitter (around here we can just go to the local fire hall) and have it professionally installed

In the US, any car seat tech can tell you where to install the seat, but chances are they won't install it for you. You need to know how to handle your seat in case it has to be moved.
The side you install it is your preference, but there's nothing wrong with a seatbelt install if done properly.
