Has anyone used one of these? How old was your child and you find it useful or just another thing your child kicked out of their way because they were upset they were tied down in a carseat on a long drive?

I haven't used one of those, but we have a long car trip ahead of us on Friday. I'm going to buy serving trays that have handles and Velcro strips to attach to the arm rest. I'm hoping this works just as well, for when they want to color etc

@mediagirl: FYI - There is one of these in the Amazon Warehouse section (open box but still like new). It might save you a couple bucks if you decide to get it. I have ordered several things from there and never had an issue.

@mediagirl: I just bought one for our trip on Friday. I'll report back! I think it'll be useful for snack times, coloring, so she can be a little more independent. In the past I've used a clipboard so she can color but I'll have to hold it for her.
