So we finally decided on a Clek Fllo for our convertible seat. Any strategies for getting one less than retail prices? Looks like Amazon has them for $380 right now. Are they sold at places like BRU and does their 20% off coupon apply? We don't have any near us so it would either be a trek or online order. I know quite a few bees have scored some good deals on their Cleks so I wanted to pick brains before we plunked down the cash! And one of our kitties is having surgery next week (at least $800, gah) so any cost cutting will help.

I got ours on Amazon for 30%off. It was a random sale.
It's a great seat.
They are often marked down at trade shows.
Don't know about BRU and BBB. -
I went through this and couldn't find them on sale anywhere. I ended up just buying on amazon which at least saved us sales tax. If you can wait awhile, you can track the amazon prices on camelcamelcamel.com and get an alert if it goes on sale.

@catlady: I did his when buying the foonf. Depending on when you need it, last years model sometimes goes on super sale too!

I watch the prices daily on amazon when I'm looking at something like that. Sometimes one color will randomly get significantly marked down one day, then be back up the next. If you watch, you'll know when it is the right time to buy.
Also - here's a tip for anything big like this that you can get on amazon. If you have a registry with them, you can get the completion discount. 15% if you are an amazon mom member which is free with Prime membership. Caveats: 1. It has to be within some time period of the due date you enter. 2. You can only get the completion discount once every 8 months. 3. The registry must have been active for at least 2 weeks beforehand. 4. The discount doesn't apply to everything although it applies to most items. So, I got my carseats at a significant discount since I already had a registry open from my first baby. I just changed the due date to a more current date, added the seats I wanted to my cart, and ordered them with the completion discount when the price dropped.

I got our Foonf on Amazon for $287! I think that is what we paid. It was just the pink color on sale.

@MenagerieMama: Yeah you can get it again! Just change the registry due date to something within a few days of the day you make the purchase. They may have changed the exact rules too, I bought my carseats a few mos ago.

Sign up for the email list from Albee baby. They regularly have 20% off or other discounts. That's how I purchased our Clek Foonf. No shipping or sales tax unless you are in the state where the business is located (NY, I think). Sometimes it is much cheaper than Amazon (although Amazon is usually my go to).
