I'm starting to research car seats as my DD is 6 months old and I'll get getting away from her infant one in the coming months. A local store is advertising that they will be getting in the Clek Foonf car seat. Apparently it has the highest safety rating and is the best of the best. Just wondering if anyone has it and opinions? It's almost $500 so wanting honest opinions and not just youtube reviews and such. Thanks!

We have it and love it. I'm not sure it' the best of the best since the best car seat is one that fits your budget, your car and your LO, but it certainly has some great features - high safety ratings being one of them!!

I did tons of research and the Foonf was one up for consideration. In the end, we found one for 1/4 the price that does everything we needs it to and has amazing ratings.
I agree that the "best of the best" is the one that fits your budget and your car.

@cheesetomywhine: Graco My Size 70, on sale for $159. We needed something with a very tall RFing limit for my giant kid, it won out by both reviews and recommendations from other moms. We were looking at it, the Chicco NextFit, the Diono Radian and the Foonf.

@loveisstrange: Thank you! R is quite tall and I've been contemplating moving her to a sit with a higher RF limit and giving her current (maxi cosi pria) to the upcoming baby.

I have the Foonf, and we absolutely love it. I came down to the same final four as @loveisstrange and totally agree that it comes down to what fits your baby and your car. We went to BBB and tried DD in the seats and tried the seats in our car (4door sedan). Surprisingly, we had the most room front-to-back with the Foonf, and it was the only one in which DD didn't scream like a banshee. We were doing a cross-country (1200 miles each way) road trip for Christmas, so it was well worth the extra cash to get a seat she loved. She cried every time we put her in her infant seat (Chicco Keyfit, which I loved anyway fwiw), but she only fussed for 30 minutes total on our 4 day road trips.
