I'm a little confused as to why the mom ran away leaving the toddler outside with the dog still loose. The kid had to get up and run after her. Unless she just panicked and was yelling for her SO maybe?

@rahlyrah: In another story she said she was checking to make sure the dog went back into its yard (it was her neighbors dog) but yeah, I would have grabbed my kid an THEN checked....

I love this video. I have three cats and my coworkers all "hate" cats. We were watching this yesterday and I was like, "SEE cats are awesome! IN YO FACE!" Lol
I also think if the mom was following the dog and making sure it went all the way back to the neighbor's yard, it makes sense she didn't take the kid with her. That way she was putting herself between the dog and the child.

@rahlyrah the dog started to creep back towards them so the mom went to shoo off the dog. She was also attacked but not injured.

I LOVE this video!!! That cat is amazing! How scary it must have been for that little boy, he was completely minding his own business, not provoking that dog or anything
Thank goodness that kitty was there to scare away the dog! I'm surprised the dog didn't try attacking the cat to be honest. Maybe the cat just startled him though and scared him.
