We got our car seat yesterday and we were trying to figure out how to secure the baby. But I'm not sure we should use the low birth weight wedge. It says to use if baby is 4-11 pounds, so it seems most likely that when DS is born, he'll be within that range. At least I hope so! <11 pounds doesn't seem like low birth weight to me, it seems normal. But all the info I can find about says that it's used with preemies.

So if you had a chaperone with your newborn, did you use the wedge?
