Hi ladies, I'd like to join you! I normally hang out over at WB so I'm just getting started over here.
How long have you been charting? 2 cycles.
TTC Cycle: Cycle 12
Where are you from? US / Virginia
Any kids already? Nope, but I do have two furbabies.
Burning charting question: nothing right now

@yellow.clover: Welcome! Are you pregnant? Looking at your chart you're well past last month and still really high! Have you tested?
pea / 17 posts
@ambular1025: Oh boy I wish! I tested a week and half ago just because I was feeling exhausted every day, but of course it was a BFN. I don't think I've O'd yet. I was thinking maybe I had late last week and due to my lack of temping I can't be for certain, but I doubt I have.

@ambular1025 I'm sure it's frustrating that the monitor and your temps don't line up. Maybe tomorrow will show peak. Are you covered with dtd if you o'd today?
papaya / 10570 posts
@Ambular1025: I know how you feel! My temps and OPKs have done exactly the same this month. This is a weird month, isn't it, with so many bees getting AF really early and then our charts going wonky....
papaya / 10570 posts
@Alison206: Hmm, yeah... maybe it's the pumpkin theme - all our bodies are re-regulating to ensure we all have Halloween pumpkins! I hope so, anyway!

@yellow.clover: Your last cycle was 31 days and you're at 37 right now. That seems way too long of a difference between the two to me, but you're right that it's possible you haven't O'd yet by your temps.
@Alison206: Yes luckily we've been DTD for the past few days, and I have EWCM today so I'm thinking we're still good. I haven't been telling him where I'm at in my cycle but I really want us to DTD today, so hopefully I can convince him without making it too obvious.
@Ali: Yes, I'm against wonky charts haha! But if it ends up meaning something good I guess I'm ok with it lol.

@yellow.clover: Welcome! I'm not sure about your chart either. It's quite a bit all over the place. Are you newly off BCP? I understand that they cause all sorts of grief to one's cycles.
pea / 17 posts
@ambular1025: It is very strange. I have PCOS, but have had regular cycles since we started ttc a year ago. This is also my 3rd cycle on Clomid, which makes it even more strange.
@Grace: Thanks! But no, we've been TTC for just a little over a year now.
@Ali: it really is a weird month! A lot of the bees over at WB were saying how they O'd at CD 10 or 11 which caused them to have AF extra early this month. Too consistent for it to not be strange.
pomelo / 5041 posts
@yellow.clover: I still think you need to test again.
My temps went up again today, the first peak day. How come my charts change so much each month? It's so annoying because then I have nothing to reference. If charting is a science I need a masters degree in it.
pea / 17 posts
@ambular1025: Well, I tested this morning, and as suspected, BFN. So I'm going to go tomorrow for a progesterone draw to confirm I haven't O'd (or maybe that I did), and then I guess start provera to bring on AF if it confirms I haven't. I'm so ready for this cycle to be over.
I too wish charting could be easier! Sigh.

@yellow.clover: I'm sorry. I'm a bad influence, making you test. I'm sorry that you're having such trouble with your cycle this month. Let us know what the doctor says about whether you O'd or not.

How long have you been charting? 17 cycles
TTC Cycle: Cycle 1
Where are you from? US / Kentucky
Any kids already? No children, three furbabies (2 cats and a dog)
Burning charting question: N/A
I'm working hard to not freak out and examine every little thing that seems different. I usually don't chart after I ovulate and just count the days...should know something late next week!

@jojogirl: haha. We bd all the time but it hasn't done us much good so far. Thanks for your endless support! How's pregnant life?
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@ambular1025: Yeah you guys are on a marathon!!! Still scary, I have to say - constantly in fear of something going wrong. But that gets a little easier every day. We have an ultrasound tomorrow!! So that will help, if all goes well. Otherwise, still feels strange to not be constantly peeing on things and charting
In a few more weeks we'll start to take this seriously, I guess... still feels too early!
Thanks for asking!

@ambular1025: Holy BD! I'm jealous! Fingers Crossed!
@jojogirl: I think it'll sink in once you go to the u/s. I think we are all too aware of what can go wrong to relax and enjoy until we see the heartbeat. However, last time I enjoyed maybe 5% of the time and worried 95% and I'm regretful that I didn't stop to enjoy it more. Thats a mistake I'll *try* not to make next time, however, I'm sure I'll always worry at least 50% of the time.

@april_showers: could that little drop be a pre-o drop? Fingers crossed for a P today for yoU!
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@alison206: Yeah, agreed. And I know once we see a heartbeat the chances of m/c drop dramatically so that will help ease my mind too. I am trying to be grateful but it's so hard to not feel like that's 'counting my chickens'! I'll be happy to hear if you are able to reach that 50% when you get your BFP!!

@JoJoGirl: Ooh, your first ultrasound while you're pregnant! Hope everything goes well! Still thinking of you, even though you're onto the next stage in this journey.

@sweetooth: Thaks girl
I'm still thinking of you guys too
Hoping bfps for everyone asap!

@jojogirl: I almost think that not worrying is the key. So excited to hear how your ultrasound goes! So happy about your sticky baby.
And omg DH had to go at it 3 times yesterday. This girl is gonna need a long no BD break after Thursday.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@ambular1025: 3 times in one day?!?!?! Holy crap! And yes I'll report back after tomorrow
cherry / 245 posts
@alison206: I did get a P this morning! I figured I would when I got an almost + OPK last night, but its still really exciting.
@JoJoGirl: So excited that you get to see your baby tomorrow!
@ambular1025: Holy Cow! haha I know I would definately need a break.
@evansjamie: Welcome and good luck!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@jojogirl, @aprilshowers: You can see how eager we are to have a baby, lol.
@aprilshowers: Congrats on the P!
@jojogirl: Do you get a pic at this u/s? If so you should post it!
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@April_Showers: Thanks! And yay for P!
@ambular1025: I hope so! If so I will. I'm only 7.5 weeks so it'll just look like a kidney bean (or as DH said last night "a grain of rice with a beating heart") but if you can see anything interesting, I'll show you guys
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@jojogirl: Thinking of you today!!! Keep me updated as I have my phone on all day at work!! I'm 980% everything will be great!
@ambular1025: DH would shut me down with all that BD. We're getting a ton of H right now and I'm worried he'll tire out quick. We follow the every other day rule.
@april_showers: I spy a temp spike!
Guys, I feel like my cycle is so weird. How come no one else's temps flat line before O? and how come no one else has a ton of H before a P? I haven't even gotten a L from a pee stick on the monitor. I feel weird (and like a 5 year coming on here and asking why I'm different)!
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@spaniellove: what are you guys doing right now? are you temping or just using OPKs? I notice a + and a blue line?
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@alison206: @Rachel: Thank you!! It's at 1:15 EST so I'll report back.
cantaloupe / 6206 posts
@alison206: Re: the monitor, if you do a search on FF for all charts using a monitor, you'll feel better - there are TONS of folks out there who have like 10 days of H and no P (and got pregnant). I'm not sure about the never getting a L thing, but do some poking around FF. I'll do a little today too if I get a chance
honeydew / 7916 posts
@JoJoGirl: Good luck! That's so exciting!
@alison206: I'm wondering if the L/H/P situation is because you started using the monitor too early in your cycle. I think you're supposed to use it on day 6, when it starts asking for sticks? Which would be why it gave you L during AF when your hormones were low, and then when they started rising compared to that (but were still low and should have been the starting point) you started getting H. I had several days of H and thought I'd never get a P but finally did, when my estrogen and LH were at a certain proportion. You'll probably get a P but you might find it less frustrating to reset and have it relearn from day 6 next cycle (if you have a next cycle) so it has a new low to start from!
I'm using just OPKs but have a really messed up batch this time around - they've always worked perfectly!
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@spaniellove: I didn't use any of the sticks till CD6 when it asked. I just turned it on every morning during my window CD1-5. Maybe I'll just be an early O'er with these 28 day cycles.
Why do you think that batch is messed up? I've never been good with OPKs. Are you supposed to have more than 1 day of +?
@Jojogirl: Thanks, I'll have to search around and see what I find on FF.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@alison206: This batch has all kinds of dye issues - like the test line being super splotchy (vs half and half), taking forever to get dark, random dents in some of the tests. I've consistently had a fainter + on one day and then an immediate dark + the second day (always the day of O) and am not seeing that with this batch of tests which is really frustrating.
pomelo / 5041 posts
@Alison206: look at my chart. It's pretty flat before o so don't worry. And the h's are totally normal for your first time using it. You may go through 20 sticks the first time. If you're worried about wearing him out, look at previous charts and don't start having sex until you get close to when you typically o'd in the past.
papaya / 10570 posts
Urgh, guys, what do I do? which temp do I record? I thought I'd O'd the day before yesterday - I had + OPK for three days prior and a temp rise.
Anyway, this morning, I woke up at 3.45am, 2 hrs before my alarm was due to go off. Knowing I wouldn't get the required 3 hrs sleep before my alarm went off, I took my temp - and it was way below the coverline again (35.8). However, at 6am, when I woke up again, it was back up above my coverline (36.3). Which temp do I use??
I was fairly sure I'd O'd, I have sticky CM just like last month - but now I'm worried I haven't.... I had all the signs of O a week ago, too, but then my temp dropped (and I got a + OPK days later).
Urgh, my chart is so wacko this month!
