@ladybee: Oh sweetie, 28 to 31 is not bouncing around. I've been tracking cycle length for years and I had one stretch that went 26, 38, 43, 26, 34, 26, 32, 50, 46, 31, 30, 37. Anyways, you get the idea. Your body is not a machine, there's a lot of hormones at work and they all feed off of eachother. A little variation is normal (albeit frustrating).
Oh, and my spotting turned into flow so I'm definitely out. Strangely not too upset about it. Which is good, because the stress was going to kill me, but I'm wondering if it's a sign that I'm giving up? Sigh.

@Grace: I'm sorry hun! I don't think it's giving up, but it's seeing not getting pregnant as something regular...so accepting the negative. I don't think you're giving up at all. If you were, you wouldn't be charting or even on HB. And you better not give up...cause we all need you!

@marionberry: Oh, that's a good way to look at it. Might mean I'll die if shock if it ever is positive, though!!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@Grace: That's how I look at it, but I totally agree...one day if it's ever positive I think I'll just fall to the floor bawling in shock.

@marionberry: oh man it's hard for me not to have a glass during the week. I'd never make it more months of trying. Wine and caffeine are my vices.
@grace: I'm sorry AF showed. I don't think you're acceptance is a sign of giving up. If anything it's a sign of strength. And you always here stories of women that get pregnant as soon as they have accepted that they won't. Hang in there we need you!!

@Grace: So sorry to see AF is here. But no, it's not giving up! Maybe just mellowing out more, and an evening out of the ups and downs.
@Chillybear: Welcome! I added you as a friend on FF. That's wonderful to hear that your DH has a job again and you guys are maybe TTC!
papaya / 10570 posts
Meh. FF has given me random crosshairs on CD12. I'm fairly sure I haven't O'd yet. Sigh. TTC is confusing!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@cherrybee: I saw that and am pretty sure you didn't o yet either, but it's probably not that far away. I'd trust your OPK sticks.
apricot / 446 posts
@chillybear good luck with your TTC journey!
@strawberrybee @ladybee added you girls too...I love checking out others' charts when nothing interesting is happening with mine
@grace sorry about AF
I'm *hoping* I finally O'd yesterday, I thought it was coming every day last week but clearly not...then this morning I overslept and temped 1.5 hours late so I don't know how much to trust the higher temp.

PS: Anyone know why, even though I've changed my nickname on FF, it still shows up at the generic numbers in the link?
pomelo / 5041 posts
@mango.sprays: Given your OPK it would make sense that you o'd today. Tomorrow may be more telling if you get up earlier. I think my link still has my number in it too, so I have no clue there. Sorry.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@mango.sprays: Did you change it through the "change nickname" button in the left toolbar or in sharing>charting home page>setup?
apricot / 446 posts
@spaniellove: thank you! I just did it under Sharing like you said, and it fixed it.
@marionberry: sigh...I guess the BD marathon continues then :-p. Also, I had a tiny bit of pink spotting this afternoon, so that's new & confusing.
pomelo / 5041 posts
@mango.sprays: Hmm...I think I read somewhere that sometimes people have ovulation spotting. Maybe that's what's going on for you. And your BD marathon just needs to go about 2 more days..so you're almost there.
@spaniellove: Thank you! Glad I got mine fixed finally.

I'm so frustrated. CD 33, 16dpo, BFN and still no AF. I've accepted that I am not pregnant, but is it too much to ask that AF shows so we can move onto our next cycle!? My cycles have been inconsistent since our m/c and d/c in May. Wasn't that loss enough? Why does my body have to keep messing with me
pomelo / 5041 posts
@ladybee: Aww, hun, I'm sorry. I'm sure it's very difficult. Stupid AF. If it goes much longer can you ask your Dr to start your period medically so that you can move forward with the next cycle?
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@marionberry: I think I'm going to give it till Wednesday, request b/w and to have them start it if b/w comes back ok. If nothing else, God is teaching me that I can't plan everything.
pomelo / 5041 posts
@ladybee: Crazy! Possibly you had a failed ovulation and your body tried a second time? Can you test with an opk? Otherwise it could be crazy random? God is really testing you this cycle.
honeydew / 7916 posts
@ladybee: I agree with @marionberry that you should try an OPK. Although you didn't temp every day, it looks like your body might have tried to ovulate and then it didn't happen. Your temps never got up to where they usually do post-O!
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@marionberry: @spaniellove: I do have some OPKs. Do I hold my urine first? Does it matter that it's not FMU?
honeydew / 7916 posts
@ladybee: Daytime urine (aka not FMU) is better for an OPK; helps to hold for a few hours!
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@spaniellove: thanks geez oh pete getting pregnant is hard if your not a teenager!!
papaya / 10570 posts
@ladybee: I second that!!! Getting pregnant is complicated and confusing and really, really hard work!!!
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@cherrybee: You're right! It is hard work! And I feel like 98% of the pressure is on me and not DH because it's all happening in my body. When I say pressure, I mean the pressure I put on myself.
pomelo / 5041 posts
@ladybee: Ya can we be go back to being premiscuous college students again?! Lol. So back to you....peed on the opk yet???
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@marionberry: Not yet, I'm holding it! Estimated pee time is 8:00pm here so about an hour, however, I'm not sure if I can hold it that long.
Side note: HAPPY TRICK OR TREAT HALLOWEEN! Our trick or treat was moved due to Sandy so we're handing out candy now. Our first born loves it

@spaniellove: @marionberry: This was the same box of OPKs I used around CD 17 when monitor gave me peak. They were stark white then. The test box is way darker than it was two weeks ago when I gave up. Does this mean I'll get a positive soon?
ETA: test box is the square
honeydew / 7916 posts
@ladybee: It's hard to say for sure without having a progression to compare it to, but when my test line is close to the color of the control line like that I usually get a positive within a day or two!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@ladybee: Is the circle the control box? If so, then it sounds like you'll be ovulating by tomorrow night. It looks like we were right!!
pomelo / 5041 posts
@ladybee: haha it would help if I read the last line about the test box.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@spaniellove @marionberry: I went back when the 3 min were up and I think it kinda looks + but I am horrible at these things so idk.

Question - are you guys' temps around where they were over the summer? Mine seem lower this cycle (they're usually around 97.5 pre-O with the occasional dip) and I'm wondering if it's because the room is a little colder.
grapefruit / 4079 posts
@spaniellove: my were a little lower as well, I was also thinking it might be because the room is colder.
