@Mrs Bicycle: Lol! I just read this now, so I went to look at your chart and I wouldn't say it's triphasic, but that little plus sign and the green line sure gives it away! Congratualations!

@grace ahh thanks! Just tested this morning....I am so nervous to get excited to soon!

@Mrs Bicycle: congrats! I was just looking to see if it looked triphasic and saw your BFP!

@Mrs Bicycle: Congrats! I guess it doesn't matter too much if it's triphasic anymore!

@futuremama: I told you it looked really good! Congratulations mama!

@ladybee: you and i have very similar charts this cycle - i had a huge dip at 8dpo with spotting too - but it's back up today? i was sort of expecting AF any day, this cycle is really unusual for me so I honestly don't know what to expect at this point!

    @chillbear: nice temp spike today!!

@chibee: Thanks, i'm not really sure what that means but i'm guessing its a good thing

  9. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

@chillybear: well if anything it shows you clearly ovulated which is a good thing!

  10. ladybee

    grapefruit / 4079 posts

@chibee: yup, but my spotting picked up today so my guess is that AF has arrived for me. I'm not even sure I've ovulated but whatever, a normal length cycle is something I'll take!

Hi everyone! Sorry I checked out briefly. It was all becoming too much and I felt very depressed and alone. I went for counseling at our church, and met with my GP for help (which went horribly and I am never going there again). He appears to think that a) PCOS only happens to "fat women so I need to lose 10-15 pounds 2) my due date shouldn't matter 3) that my OBGYN indulged me by giving me clomid and sending me to a RE 4) that I am crazy, and it's my fault I'm not pregnant, I should consider going back on BC and working on me. Real prize right? He was super judgemental and mean. He said I have an unrealistic timeline in my head of how long it takes to get pregnant. Well sir, in Jan I will be of BC for 1 year and it's been 7 months since my mc, oh and there is a REASON I'm not getting pregnant. It's called PCOS. He asked why we are having sex EOD for the whole cycle. He said that is "stupid" and to just have sex during my ovulation window. Yeah, duh, if only I knew when that would be! UGH!

However, yesterday AF was a surpirse vistor which does make me feel a little less crazy! It also gives me a normal cycle at CD 31. I'm not sure if I ever O'd or not, but it doesn't matter. Only two more weeks till I get to meet with my RE and I will start clomid Christmas day for this cycle.

Any feelings on if I should be using the monitor or not? I really want to again, but I keep reading it doesn't work for women with PCOS. Thoughts?

@chibee: I think your temp drop and spotting looks alot like ID!!!

  14. Grace

    cantaloupe / 6730 posts

@ladybee: On sweetie, that sounds awful. I'm so sorry - you went for help and got that?!? But remember, he's not the expert - your OBGYN is and your RE is even more. I really don't think that GPs know much about fertility at all. If you want to use the monitor again, then do it! My only suggestion is to treat it like an experiment. You know that the monitor might not predict O properly, especially if your body has multiple LH surges. So if you use the monitor and also chart and keep openminded about the fact that it might be wrong, I don't see what the harm is. And it might give you some clarity, which will help with stress.

    ...stupid doctor.

Charting question. I got up at 4:45 this morning and my temp was 98.08. Then I was anxious and probably didn't fall asleep until about 5:15 and woke up to my alarm at my usual testing time, 6am and it was 98.17. When I type my 4:45 time into the temp corrector it's 98.33 at 6am. I put in the .17 temp on FF, but just curious which you think is more accurate? 98.17 seems kind of low for over an hour of sleep.

  16. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@marionberry: I'd say that 98.17 is about right. Those BBT calculators are off, IMO. That being said, I can't help but think that the dip yesterday is implantation! eeeeeee! Fingers crossed for you!

  17. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@shutterbug: That was totally my thought too (about the dip)! Trying not to read too much into it, but I would love it if that's what it was. Just praying my temps go up tomorrow. I hate that the hcg trigger affects the temps so bad. Mine have been SO low compared to normal.

  18. chibee

    pear / 1974 posts

    @marionberry: how are you feeling??

  19. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@chibee: just bits of cramping so far. Was really exhausted on Monday-Tuesday but that could just be my body trying to catch up on sleep. I wish I felt like I was possibly pregnant but I really don't so far. 4 more days to go until I know...

where is @April_Showers? I'm chart stalking and your chart looks goood!

@marionberry: do they advise you against taking HPTs before your blood test?

  22. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@chibee: no they didn't say I couldn't. I had just thought I might try not to until the blood test. I'm not prepared for a BFN at home and then still have to go to the RE's office to tell me BFN again.

@Shutterbug: I am here! haha. I have had a crappy couple months so I have just been lurking. I have been trying to not get to excited this month. I am happy its just kind of normal compared to the last 2 cycles.

  24. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@April_Showers: I think your chart looks fabulous too! That late of a rise can only mean good things I think. When are you testing?

  25. chibee

@marionberry: good thinking - be strong! I'm thinking of you! Are you itching to test though? I would be, but you are totally right for waiting!

    @marionberry: Eeeeee! Still cramping?!?!?

  28. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@fussygal: Thank you! I know, win the day right?! I'm so sad Chip Kelly may be leaving though. I got accepted to U of O and ended up changing schools at the last minute. I've always been a Duck fan though, since I was a little kid.

@jojogirl:Small bits of cramping today. Had a lot last night before bed. I've had cramping before though with a BFN so I'm trying not to think too much about it.

@chibee: Surprisingly, I haven't really been itching to test. I think I'm really scared of seeing a BFN. I'm more anxious for Monday to get here. Today I woke up at 3:45 and couldn't go back to bed...totally screwed with my temps and made me so mad! I kept trying to force myself to sleep because I wanted an accurate temp today, but it didn't work.

Just popping in to say good luck to y'all that are TWWing or testing soon!!! Fingers crossed for you!

I'm on CD9 today, thiiiinking I'll O sometime around 1/7-1/9...hopefully. DH is leaving Monday morning for work for the week, so I think we'll just try to get it in (ha) as much as possibly up until then!

http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/3dc29d (not really worth comparing to last cycle's chart as I had a fever/flu from CD13-17...perfect...).

  30. Shutterbug

    grapefruit / 4703 posts

@ms.janedoe: haha 'get it in'. I totally feel you on the fever messing up your chart! I had one last week (101!) and I was afraid it would screw with my chart. It ended up just pushing my ovulation back (I think) but so annoying! Good luck!

  31. Turd Ferguson

    pomegranate / 3160 posts

@Shutterbug: Ugggh, sorry lady. Yeah, I had positive OPKs on like, CD13 I think it was, but then got hit with fever/flu, and O ended up being pushed out (but I didn't know that at the time so I never paid much attention or used OPKs later in my cycle...I just assumed it was super long as I was coming off BCP). Fail.

  32. April_Showers

    cherry / 245 posts

@marionberry: I am going to try to wait until at least Sunday. That will be 12DPO. I am not ready to see a BFN though. Fingers crossed for you though! I'd say Monday will be here before you know it....but it wont feel that way!

  33. marionberry

    pomelo / 5041 posts

@April_Showers: Agreed. Well we may end up finding out on the same day or very close to the same day. Crossing fingers and toes and eyes for you!

@April_Showers: Ok if I had your chart even I would be testing now! So jealous!

  35. April_Showers

    cherry / 245 posts

@marionberry: haha don't be jealous. I did test this morning and BFN. My first chart did this too and BFN. I am not holding my breath!

@April_Showers: I'm so sorry. It's still early though.

  37. April_Showers

@marionberry: Its ok. Like I said...I am just happy I ovulated and have so far had a normal LP after the last couple cycles. I am not bummed.

Debating if I should test today. I'm 16DPO (CD30) and after a temp dip that almost went below my coverline yesterday I thought I was for sure AF was coming. It spiked back up today, but I still *kinda* feel like AF is coming, but at this point I feel like I never interpret my body correctly! My cycles are usually 28-29 days long, so anything over that gets my hopes up.

This is only my second month temping so I don't even have that much to compare it to. I want to stay hopeful since everything is still above coverline, but not sure if I want to deal with seeing a BFN. The TWW is turning me into a crazy woman. Just had to get all this out there
