I need an extra car seat for my parents but it needs to be cheap and safe. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!

Is your kid front facing? If so, you can get a harness to booster seat, that could expand your options.

I bought this for our trip to the states this past summer. It's lightweight and can be used 5-point harness to 45 and 80 booster. Got good ratings on consumer reports too.
