@anbanan15: from what I understand they're doing the scAn to check and see if it is.. At y appointment they didn't mention it to me at all, so I think it's more to rule it out? I wrote down a list of questions because whenever I get there I always forget haha

@MrsTiz: It's alway good to have those lists! I hope you get it all sorted out! Tomorrow is Monday already so you won't have to wait too long at least before you talk to them.

@anbanan15: @MrsTiz: I wonder if they wouldn't be able to diagnose appendicitis by ultrasound because the baby / uterus would be in the way. They had trouble evaluating my gallbladder (obviously not in the same place) while I was pregnant because everything was moved around and obscured. It's hard to imagine you having appendicitis without any abdominal pain. I hope you get some answers soon!

@MrsF: I was thinking that too...They did have triuble locating mine and I certainly wasn't pregnant at the time. Always worth asking for peach of mind though if she's concerned about another CT.

@MrsF: @anbanan15: I'm not sure but I will definitely be asking. Of course my left side is hurting today so I'm going to think about it until I give myself appendicitis baha

Went up there this morning and they sent me to the hospital to recheck my white blood cell count. It's still crazy high at 17.9 after almost a week of antibiotics.

So I'm drinking this chalky drink now and having the scan this afternoon. She seemed concerned so eek

@MrsTiz: I am glad they checked your WBC again first. At least that gives you some confirmation that another CT is needed. Good luck this afternoon and keep us posted! Thinking of you!

Thanks everyone! I'm almost in tears over this drink, I'm so full and I still have to drink 1 and a half more before 1:30 ahhg!

I wish this was all over.

@MrsTiz: I'm sure this is different because I wasn't PG when I had to drink that chalky stuff, but when I got so full I thought I'd barf if I drank another sip, they let me take my drink and go out and walk around a bit. I found that changing positions and "walking it off" so to speak made it easier to get some more down...

Missed this last week, but sending lots of good vibes your way! I hope all goes well!

And to put your mind at ease a little bit...my SIL had kidney stones throughout her whole pregnancy with my niece. They went in and did 2 surgeries to crush them while she was pregnant. They take special care of you, but surgery can be done while pregnant if it comes to that!

@IRunForFun: good idea. I'm up pacing now, I feel the same way, soooo full. I need some more space to fit it all in lol

So the CT scan showed absolutely nothing. Everything looked perfectly fine and my doctor sounded really frustrated telling me that because she has no clue what the problem is now. So I'm still supposed to be on modified bed rest and I have another appointment tomorrow and have to take my temp every hour tonight and then practice breathing deeply

I feel even more defeated now, I was hoping for answers.

It must be frustrating not knowing what the problem is yet, but glad to hear the CT scan turned out normal. Sending positive thoughts your way and hoping you feel better soon!

@MrsTiz: I just caught up on this- I'm so sorry!! What an awful situation

I had severe pain there too but it was because J was kicking my ribs like a soccer ball! They were completely fanned out.

@MrsTiz: I'm glad to hear that the CT scan was clear, but I know how frustrating it can be when there isn't a clear diagnosis. For now, adhere to that bed rest and listen to some of your favorite, calming music while breathing deeply. Maybe talk to your little guy too Hugs!
