I was just talking to my sister about TTC and she mentioned the Chinese Gender Chart. Apparently it's an ancient calendar that predicts a baby's gender based on the mother's age and month of conception. http://www.chinesegenderchart.info/
Have any of you heard of/used this? I'm just curious if it's really that accurate. According to the chart, if we were successful this cycle, we'd be having a girl.

it successfully said i'd have a girl. but it didn't predict i'd have 2! lol. so it was 50% right, 50% wrong.

we'd be having a boy if i get pregnant this cycle, and a girl if it's next

I wouldn't put too much trust in it. I've seen a few different versions, and I've gotten different results depending on which one I looked at. The one you linked to said boy for us, but so far they say we're having a girl! They're still fun to try out though!

I agree with Jennylynn. Ive seen one that says girl and one that says boy for me.
Plus you have a 50/50 chance of having what the chart says. Youll hear it worked for 50 and didnt work for another 50.. im sure

I've seen two different versions of a Chinese Gender Chart. One said girl, one said boy. The one you linked to said girl, but we are having a boy...
I guess when a prediction is 50/50 you're bound to have some people swear by them because they are right about half the time

According to the chart, we are having a boy! Only time will tell though, in the cases of most of the women in my family the chart has been correct. It's important to calculate your lunar age as that is what the chart is based on.
Either way it's a fun!

Well, there's a 50% chance that it's correct 
I had a girl, and the chart predicted it. But with those odds, it's not really that hard!

I just did the chart for our current pregnancy, and it says boy, which is what I have felt that it is ... we are team green, so we won't find out if it is right until May!

this chart says i'm having a girl and on the bump it says i'm having a boy. and I'm having a boy.

Not sure it's super accurate. For my son, it said I would have a boy. If I test it now, it says I will have a boy again... I guess we will have to wait and see. Everything else points to girl (heartrate, symptomes) etc

I know it's 50/50 but anecdotally it seems pretty accurate! Maybe I'll follow it for when we TTC next and see what happens! We would aim for a boy.
