Does your LO have chores? How old are they and what do they help around the house with?
My 6 year old recently started asking if he can help with dishes, it's pretty exciting to thing that's one chore I won't have before long!

@Boogs: my 4.5 year old has been asking to do dishes too! She did a whole load on Monday. And was upset last night that we didn't have time for her to do some before bed!

My 18 month old has one "chore" which is feeding the dog. It's more for fun and she loves doing it. We ask her to feed Margaret and she grabs the bowl and walks to where we keep the food, we dump the food in, and she walks back to put the food where it goes. It is the cutest thing.

My 4 year-old makes his bed, unloads silverware from the dishwasher, matches socks, puts away his clothes, and moves laundry from washer to dryer. And cleaning the playroom (with assistance if DS2 has made most of the mess...) He LOVES to do dishes, but I don't consider that his chore (yet...)
My almost 2 year-old is responsible for getting his clothes into the hamper. And he's sort-of expected to help clean up his playroom.

LO is almost 5 and her main chores are cleaning up her toys and making us coffee (keurig). The coffee making was her choice for a chore, and obviously she doesn’t grab the hot mug, but she gets on her stool and puts the mug under the Keurig, puts in a new pod, presses the buttons to make the coffee and then calls us over when it’s ready.
This summer her chores are to refill the bird seed and chipmunk food bowls outside and water the plants on the back deck.
Oh, and making sure her dirty clothes go into her hamper and matching up her socks from the clean laundry.

I'm not sure I consider them chores but DD does help around the house. She has always liked cleaning so we're pretty lucky haha
She feeds the cats twice a day - gets out the food container, puts a scoop in each bowl, and puts the container away.
Picks up her toys every day before bed. (We help and she doesn't have to do every piece but she has to be helping the whole time.)
Puts her clothes in the hamper. Puts clothes in the washing machine when I am doing laundry.
Brings (most of) her dishes to the kitchen from the table.
Puts the silverware away from the dishwasher.
Dusts the furniture in the living/dining room.
Uses the little handheld vacuum to clean around the table after meals.

@alphagam84: Haha yes! My 2.5 "feeds" the dog too. It's actually because of her that we remember to feed the dog!

DS1 is 6. He is in charge of most of his self-care (showers, teeth, combing hair, packing bookbag, swim bag, changing sheets). He enjoys helping with the vacuum, folds an occasional load of laundry, sometimes sweeps the kitchen and LOVES to help with dishes or yard work.
DS2 is about to be 2. He puts dirty clothes in the hamper, helps take clean clothes out of the dryer, and helps dress himself in the morning. He loves to get out the child-size broom and do what he calls "seep seep".
Since DH and I both work, Saturday morning is our big cleaning time, and we ALL pitch in (as much as we can...DS2 usually finds a place to hang out and "help").
