When did you start your kids with chores? DD1 will be 3 in March and I just ordered a Melissa and Doug Chore chart for her. I feel like she's old enough to have some recurring responsibilities now.

She puts her shoes away and we put a hook low enough for her in the closet so she can hang up her own coat (when we remember to tell her to...) She also feeds the dog.

LO is 2 and so these things are not necessarily done independently, automatically or every time but he currently....
Helps feed the dogs
Hangs his coat up on his hook when he comes inside
Puts away toys when he's done playing with him (not strictly a chore but whatever)
Puts clothes in the laundry basket
Throws trash away
Unloads his dishes from the dishwasher (occasionally)
He also likes playing with a broom and "sweeping" but I don't count that one since we haven't set a "goal" with it.

Nothing recurring, but specific things like, put your shoes away, jacket, back pack, etc. Clear your plate, and sometimes wipe the table. Help me unload the dishwasher. Mostly just a general sense of 'we don't have a maid, we all share the work here'.

Put away certain groceries (lower shelves).

At almost 2 1/2 she knows she has to pick up her toys (it's a battle sometimes though), pick up her clothes after bath and put in her hamper, and she likes to help dust and put dishes away. However, the toys is the big one and the biggest battle! ha

LO will be 2.5 and he puts his dirty clothes in the hamper every night before bath, will hand me things from the dishwasher to put away and will help me clean up his toys (though this one is more of a struggle).
ETA: He also helps dad shovel snow
