Did anyone else plan to put their kids into warm, long sleeve outfits for Christmas and now it's going to be too hot to wear those outfits? M's sweater dress is not going to cut it in 78 degree weather. I'm digging through her closet trying to find a red or green or any type of holidayish dress that will work now.
Is it unseasonably warm where you are? What are your kids wearing for Christmas?

Yikes! It is unseasonably warm here, but still cool enough that our long-sleeve shirts will be fine. 78 is hot for December! (Depending on where you live, of course)

Yeah, the high is 82 here on Christmas. They're wearing their outfits anyway. The air conditioning will be on, ha.

I've been putting DD in her Christmas onesies and no pants. 
Her outfit for Christmas Day is short sleeve with a cardigan so I'll leave off the cardigan.

HAHA! I was just thinking about this. Good thing is that my mom actually bought some short-sleeved Christmas shirts on sale for the girls at Baby Gap. I looked at my mom like she was crazy (because it was freezing when she bought them). Now I'm so thankful because I know they won't be sweating!

Luckily her dress was sleeveless, so we'll just do that with no tights or undershirt and a light cardigan.

Oh man, it took me forever to pick out mine, DH, and LO's clothes today! I basically had to pick my lesser favorite Christmas clothes for LO. And her fancy outfit will just go without tights. I think we'll be spending the day inside, but I did bring 1 t shirt that isn't Christmas-y that she can wear if it's really hot out.

Unless I was celebrating outside, I wouldn't worry about it. They'll be perfectly comfortable in the climate controlled indoors!

I was just thinking about this! It's supposed to be close to 70 in the northeast!! But rainy. I had LO 1 in a sweater, but will probably do something lighter now.

It's going to be 60 so I forsee some outdoor play! I'm thinking red leggings and a green linen shirt, that is pretty lightweight. I got it in the clearance section of Old Navy, so i'm assuming it was a spring/summer shirt in a forest green color.

While, yes, it is warmer here, I can never buy the usual Christmas outfits with sweaters and the like since we go to my grandma's house and it's always about a million degrees in there! My dad almost went in shorts for Thanksgiving.

I bought my son a cute sweater and new jeans for Christmas, and it's supposed to be 65-70. He'll probably wear it anyway 
I packed a red t-shirt to go underneath just in case.

Story of my life. It's usually in the 70s or low 80s here at Christmas. I try to find a red or green summer-weight outfit when they go on clearance in the fall and call it good.

I raided my neighbor's daughter's closet last night and found two sleeveless dresses that may work. Fingers crossed they aren't too big.

It will be 70 and rainy so yeah, his heavy red sweater and corduroys won't exactly cut it. Plus his daycare room is kept at about 85 degrees so we dress him in t shirts year round anyway.
