I feel like I've done all of the above, haha. My two girls are only 2 years apart, so they always have several sets of matching PJs anyway, some festive, some not.

1st Xmas - Matching PJs for all of us
2nd Xmas - Nothing; literally 5 days PP here
3rd Xmas - DH & I wore the same matching set from the 1st year; DDs wore their own matching set
4th Xmas - Same as 3rd; DH ordered matching set for all of us but didn't come on time lol
5th Xmas - We will now wear the matching set he got for last year haha

DH and I have matching pajama pants - just red and black plaid that we wear on Christmas morning. We get DD a fun Christmas set that looks good with ours but doesn’t match. We give them to her Christmas Eve and then she wears them Christmas Day until we go see family.

I didn’t want to get new adult pajamas every year so this works for us! If we have another LO I do my think we would get them matching ones, just ones that coordinate.

On Christmas Eve night the kids get to open 2 gifts each. One is pair of Christmas PJs and a book. The other is a gift from (one of) their sibling(s). We started the 1 sibling gift on Christmas Eve when I was a kid because it helps the sibling gifts, which are generally smaller/less expensive get the spotlight instead of being overshadowed by larger gifts.

Edit to add: This year the Christmas PJs will match their cousin Hoping to keep that up for all the Christmases we are together.

Kids get matching jammies at the beginning of December and love wearing them all month (or all year!). We usually do two sets. This year they have 3. I like having more than one so they can match at MIL's on the 23rd plus at home for Christmas morning.

My 2 bff's and I have gotten our kids matching jammies ever since we had our first born kids in the same year. Now it's a whole bunch of kids and we just did matching shirts this year but the pictures were so cute! It's really hard to get everyone together for a picture but definitely worth it.

We order them at around Thanksgiving and give them to the kids sometime before Christmas, usually in time for their " jammie party"

Yes! When I was little, Mrs Claus came on the night of Christmas Eve Eve. She brought us all matching Christmas Pajamas to wear for Christmas Eve. It’s one of my favourite traditions and one I love doing with my girls.

This year I got the matching American girl PJs for my daughters and their dolls. I can’t wait for them to see them!

Last year was the first year I did this, and our kids got matching red polka dot pajamas. This year our two big kids will get new pj’s on Christmas Eve (we’re skipping ones for the baby), but they aren’t Christmas themed. They’re cute onesie pj’s from Carters.

This year, our elf on the shelf brought new Christmas PJs right after Thanksgiving so she could get more wear out of them. When she's gotten them on Christmas Eve in the past, there isn't that long of a window to wear them. (She was still wearing them into the spring if all her other PJs were dirty, but it looked odd, lol!) They are having a Christmas PJ day on the last day of school, so she'll get to wear them then as well.
