The "where did you think babies come from" thread reminded me of asking my mom what a virgin is when I was little. We went to church, and at Christmas, they always talked about what a miracle it was for a virgin to give birth. I didn't know what one was, so I didn't understand why it would be miraculous. My mom just said it was a woman who had never had a baby before. So it didn't really seem that miraculous to me since women who have never had babies have babies all the time!

Now that I think of it, it's pretty awkward. Did anyone else have to have weird sex conversations with their mom because of the Christmas story?
