I've been trying to figure out how to better manage public transportation now that it's getting cooler. My 3 year old can walk some but definitely gets tired and needs the stroller. My toddler can either be in the stroller or the ergo, but he is 30 lbs so I can only carry him so long. So far I have ended up taking a stroller with buggy board and then when we go on the subway or bus I have the toddler in the ergo, preschooler holding one hand and stroller in the other (plus a backpack with all our stuff). I'm sure it looks totally ridiculous because it sure feels it! So I'm wondering how other people do it! Should I consider a double umbrella stroller or a better carrier maybe? Something else I'm not thinking of? Is this just how it's going to be?
I do find it pretty limiting though since there are so few stops with elevators!
the convenience. I take my 3 year old and baby out all the time. We have a single stroller with buggy board and my older LO either rides that or walks. In transit, I fold up the buggy board, but I never have to fold the stroller.
