During both pregnancies I cut out coffee first trimester, but that was only because I had severe aversions and nausea that made it totally unappealing. I started drinking it again second trimester and usually had a cup a day.

I had pretty much no caffeine with lo. I think I allowed myself a coke and a few hot chocolates If I were to get pregnant again I'm sure I would allow myself a cup a day if I felt like it. I'm pretty well addicted to my coffee these days and think it's be worse to cut it out.

I had a strong aversion to all my favorite forms of caffeine during the first trimester, so I abstained not by choice. Now I drink as much as I want. It's usually a frappe in the morning and a Dr. Pepper in the afternoon. Even when I'm not pregnant I don't drink close to 200mg a day, so I don't worry about changing any habits while pregnant.

I drank a small cup a day until LO's heart skipped at a check up. After that I eliminated caffeine entirely even chocolate.

I abstained in the first trimester, but only because coffee was the devil.
Now, I have 1-2 cups each day (usually just 1).

@CatchAFallingStar: 100mg/day or less was my goal, but i am very random with my caffeine intake and didn't worry too much about it

I said none because I only drank decaf- but that is normal for me anyway.

I didn't drink coffee on a daily basis pre-pregnancy so I only had it when I really needed it. I am a tea and soda drinker so I did see if that helped before going to coffee or my occasional latte.

With my first pregnancy, I cut it out almost completely. With my second, they literally had to pry the coffee out of my hands during labor. It is hard to give up coffee, but I think like most things it's totally fine in moderation.

I did decaf during my first pregnancy. During my 2nd, I had one cup of regular every day. No way I could do pregnancy with a toddler without my caffeine.

I totally abstained from coffee throughout both pregnancies. I'm not a pop drinker. I did drink red raspberry leaf tea towards the end of my 3rd trimester though.
