I'm having a hard time getting the search bar to cooperate, so forgive me if this question has been asked already, but I have a horrible cold right now. I can't breathe out of my nose, I can't sleep, my throat is on FIRE.
Is there any cold medicine I can take that is safe during pregnancy? I'm 8 weeks pregnant.

My OB advised that Tylenol Cold was totally fine to take in the first trimester. Not the multi-symptom variety though; just the plain old regular "cold". The kind I got was a liquid that was blue in color.

Sorry to hear that you're sick :(. Sucks double time when you're pregnant too. You can also try honey for your throat or honey lemon with hot water and saline spray for your nose. And just lots of water. That's what I did when I got sick while preggers. Hope you feel better soon.
