I've been trying to research how normal "crying at the same time every night" seems to be at K's age (8 weeks). The past week about, it seems like clock-work that she will suddenly cry and just scream out like she is in pain at ~ 6:30 pm every night. It's not crying "for hours" but she has definitely been fussier for a few hours each night. Like fine and happy one second to suddenly loud cries and super sad face. I've chalked it up to "witching hours" and growing pains. And tonight, schedule shifting.

Almost every (non-professional) response I've read to similar questions have come up with "sounds like COLIC". But colic seems like such a negative connotation. And from professional statements, actually a rare thing that only happens about 20% of the time.

So how do you really say whether this is colic or "witching hour" behavior? Did your LO experience either?
