Do you have any common hobbies with your SO?
Dh and I had a devotional tonight discuss finding a common hobby, and we just realized we don't have any.

Haha watching tv together. DH's main hobby is hunting which I'm not interested in at all (until we get the meat in the freezer) and mine is painting and art which he is not interested in either lol.
We have two sets of friends that are husband/wife who are hunting buddies and use a double tree stand. I feel like DH wishes we could do the same thing, but nope. I would cry the instant I saw DH aiming at a deer. So he sits in his double tree stand all alone.

We watch TV together, and he would bike alongside me during my long runs. We also like to hike.

We used to snowboard together but we haven't since I got pregnant. Now we watch TV!

We play hockey, baseball and cycle together. We both ski but I wouldn't call it one of our hobbies.

DH and I are extremely different fundamentally, but we both like being active (exercising, going for runs, etc.). But that's about it.

We walk the dog together & watch tv together. DH is very musical & I'm not! But I do try to ask intelligent questions about music, recording, etc. he can talk for hours about it.

Movies? We're both really into seeing whole sets of movies (even if we don't think we'll like them), seeing all the classics, superhero movies, etc. That's about it I guess. My main hobbies otherwise are crafting/house stuff and his are music and basketball.

We both like running, love board games, sometimes read the same books, and we have the same taste in TV shows if that counts!

We both love food; finding unique recipes, trying new restaurants, attending tastings and festivals.
In the summer, we like to ride bikes, and picnic on the beach, or up in the mountains.
Our biggest shared hobby now is DD.

We love to eat! Does that count? We also share some similar interest in TV shows and movies. He is into real photography, and I can appreciate photography. We both carry around our special cameras and like to take pictures of our kids. Hehe.

We're both kinda nerdy so we love going to different historical sites and museums together. We'll also support each other's hobbies so Ill go to sporting events with him and he'll go to plays and performances with me. We also like going to concerts together.

Board games, video games, phone games, movies, music, we like to be active together but not always the same thing, he loves to work out, I like to rock climb, we both do the other with each other. Hmmmm... I know there must be more. We have a LOT in common.
In fact, maybe too much and we could spend a little time doing stuff apart. Hhaha

Pretty much all of our hobbies are the same, which is awesome, but also I think we spend more money on hobbies because of it. Most of our hobbies (camping, kayaking, cycling) are gear-intensive. DH or I will get a crazy idea that we need some new gadget, and rather than keep the other one in check, we end up encouraging the purchase because it sounds great. And that's how you end up owning an RV in your 30's

Traveling, dancing, concerts, ski/snowboard. We would go hiking and to the movies together, but I wouldn't say we'd call them regular hobbies. Nowadays, watch TV seems to be about it.

We like to DIY and refurbish together. Like building our tv stand, he built and I painted. We haven't done much lately but I'm feeling the need to do something.

TV, but even that we both make compromises on what we watch Together.
pineapple / 12526 posts
Board games, music, movies, and video games.
We also have a few separate interests that we both can talk to the other about, even though we aren't particularly interested (like my love of musicals).

We don't really have anything I would say is a hobby that we do together, but I can see that it would probably be good for a relationship to have something you're both into that has relevance on a frequent basis. All the things we both like (traveling & skiing for example) aren't things that we do often, and I refuse to count watching TV as a hobby, although that is what we do together most often. I'm not actually sure I have any "hobbies" anymore. That's kind of depressing, and I might have to work on that.
