Is there anything that you don't have that you probably should? Why don't you?
I don't have:
-Ironing board
-Iron
-Toilet plunger
-Colander
We don't have many clothes that need to be ironed, but when we do I use my sisters 
We've never had a toilet plunger, and my colander disappeared in the move, so I've learned to go without rather than buying a new one!

ETA - fire extinguisher! But, there is one 2 feet outside our apartment door, so if we needed it, it's handy. Also, it's been inspected annually, unlike one that we would own.

I have no idea if I still have an iron & ironing board or not LOL. We did, but both of us can wear jeans and shirts to work, so there isn't much demand... I should really check and see if I still have it though haha.
I have a coffee maker but never have any coffee, to my dad's endless consternation when he comes to visit!

In our last house overseas we had almost nothing. No washing machine or dryer, no iron, no vacuum, no TV, no internet, no frying pans, no mixing bowls, no can opener, no cutting board, no cooking utensils, no glasses, no heat or heaters of any kind (that sucked), no kitchen appliances except a stove and a mini fridge, no bathtub or shower (that also sucked), no hot water in the kitchen... so now that we're in America in a regular house I feel super spoiled.
For most of my adult life (and actually childhood as well) I haven't had a television, but we do have one at the moment. When we move again though, we're going back to no TV.
I don't have a blow dryer, although I do want one for cold days when I don't want to have wet hair. I just don't want one enough to go out and buy one.
No rolling pin (I use a glass), no umbrella (ours broke ages ago and I haven't gotten around to replacing it) no fire extinguishers (we just never got any when we moved here and since we're moving again soon we never got to it), no plungers (again, never got any when we moved and so far we haven't needed one)...

Huh-- we are well stocked! We couldn't survive without the plunger-- which is so gross to say 
We got a small fire extinguisher after DH set something on fire in the microwave, keep it in the pantry right next to the kitchen.
We don't have an internet modem, since we "borrow" internet from our neighbors who don't know how to put a password on it!

I'm surprised at how many people don't have irons! The only thing I can think of that we don't have is a toaster oven. We registered for one, and got it, but we returned it because it was so big and we realized we weren't going to use it.

-rolling pin
-coffee pot
-toilet plunger
-drinking glasses (we have a couple of really old plastic ones, none that are glass and nice)
-matching dishes (still using old college thrifted mismatched ones)
For a long time we didn't have a cutting board (like @MrsTiz it was lost in a move) and just used an old plastic plate. I finally got a new set though, since I couldn't stand it anymore.

We just got an ice cream scoop for Christmas! Haha.
We don't have a regular mop, I just use the stiffer wetjet or scrub with a brush on my knees.

In a completely different category, we don't have DVR (or TiVo, or any digital recording on our tv), which I suspect puts us in the minority. We do have an iron and ironing board, coffee maker, toaster oven, colander (at least two), and fire extinguisher!

We also don't have a mop, I vacuum, then clean the floors by hand!
I get all freaked out by swiffer or anything else but water/vinegar on the floor.....the dog licks the floor, lol.

We have an iron and small ironing board but I think I've only used it like maybe twice in about 5 years. DH's job's dress code is very casual.
We don't have a DVR or cable (we can't even get basic cable without moving our TV into the nursery). We have a dishwasher but things have a habit of coming out dirtier than when they went in so I use it as a drying rack.
At the moment we don't have a couch. We have a futon that was moved into the nursery for a friend like a month ago. In our living room we have the glider and a big leather recliner. I'm hoping to get a new couch soon.
We don't have a toaster but we do have a toaster oven, don't have a fire extinguisher or vacuum.

we dont have a microwave or a crock pot! well, I guess technically we do have a microwave, but it just doesn't work (and hasnt worked for about 6 months). its an over the range one, so it just sits there, teasing me...i burned dinner a few weeks ago and since the microwave doesnt work, the vent doesnt work, so our house smelled terribly for a few days.

We don't have a kitchen table! It's terrible but there is really no space for one in our tiny apartment!
We have a coffee table in the living room that we put a table cloth on and eat from the couch every night.
Also, we don't have a TV! Definitely no DVR/Tivo either.

We actually went without a veggie peeler for a month since I left it at my aunts but I couldn't live without it so I bought a new one
Cable- but that's not a household necessity and we've never had it.

@hilsy85: I don't use one, it's easier to just run and get wet for 10 seconds than open an umbrella, get out of the car, walk over, fold it down and shake it out & have to carry a wet umbrella around!
@Bao: For pasta I just tilt the pot sideways and hold a slatted wooden spoon under it, once it's hard to pour the water out I shake the pot +pasta and tilt it more! For potatoes I just dump it out slowly sideways and hold a spoon under it to catch anything! I really should get one lol

We don't have a traditional toaster or coffee maker (but we do have toaster oven and nespresso machine). We don't have a sofa set or any seating in the formal living room. We also don't have a plunger - though it never occurred to me until this post!

I can't believe that so many people don't have an iron and ironing board. Crazy to me. I air dry a lot of clothes so I have to iron.
The only thing I can think of is rolling pin. We don't have a regular toaster, but have a toaster oven, so pretty much the same thing.

@shopaholic: We had a hose. The whole bathroom was tiled (floor and walls) with a drain in the floor, and you just held the hose over your head. Eventually my husband put a hook on the wall to stick the hose in so you didn't have to hold it.

Vacuum cleaner- we have a couple area rugs, but DH sweeps the heck out of them we never bothered with getting a vacuum.

@Arden: I thought my old apartment with a clawfoot tub & a hose was roughin it! Haha, guess not! We did have hot water though, but not much. I used to boil stock pots of water to dump into the tub to have a bit more hot water. It was so exciting when we moved & got a real shower!
