Concert Bucket List?

I am purchasing tickets to see Paul McCartney tomorrow, and I was thinking how excited I am to check a concert off of my concert bucket list. My list changes and grows over the years, but right now, I still really want a chance to see

Radiohead
The Killers
Vampire Weekend
Weezer
Tom Petty

in concert. And I'm pretty excited that I'll be seeing Mumford and Sons in September.

So what's on your concert bucket list? I like to think of it as the bands/entertainers you have always said you would see if they ever came close to your area. Some of them aren't bands that I listen too all that often anymore, but I once really really loved them, so I still feel like I need to see them. Like Weezer.

Paul McCartney came to Miami a few years ago, but the tickets were ridiculous expensive and I've regretted not going ever since. So glad he's coming back to Florida!

Oh my god. I'd love to see Weezer.

I haven't really made a bucket list, but I recently wanted to go see KISS, but their tickets are up to $675.00 !!!! LOLWUT! I guess KISS concerts are not in my near future. Unless I will the lottery before July...

I've seen most everyone I've wanted to! Mumford is amazing live. And yes Radiohead is awesome, but I hate how they act like they're above the fans in a way.

I wish I had seen Michael Jackson!

I want to see muse - they're playing this weekend here but I couldn't get tix.

I've had tickets to see Radiohead four times. And yet I've never seen them. I'm convinced now it won't happen. Last year there was a stage collapse a few hours before the show. A few years ago a rainout, before that a sick grandparent, before that pneumonia. Its Just not meant to be. They are the only band on my concert bucket list.

@Beebug: I saw Garth Brooks in 1998 when I was 16! Man I feel old. And Trisha Yearwood was just the opener

Smashing Pumpkins. I think they are coming to London when I'm about 8mths pregnant, so I'm going to have to give it a miss. One day though...

I would love to see The Black Keys, The Killers, Billy Joel, and Nine Inch Nails. The Black Keys are coming here this summer but I'll be almost 40 weeks, so that's a no go

Side note: Weezer was one of my favorite bands in high school (I still like them a lot, but I don't listen to them like I used to). I saw them once when I was 18, and then when I was 26. They're really good live!

We go to concerts a lot and have a long list of our favorite bands that we try to see whenever they come close. We try to make it to ACL every other year, and we can usually check a lot of artists off our bucket list then.

Muse was on my bucket list forever (DH has seen them several times) and I was able to check them off a few months ago.
They were AMAZING!!!!

Bon Jovi, who we are seeing in June! Would like to see Bruce Springsteen too. He's coming near us in July, but we're flying out for a wedding that day. :o/

Working in the music industry (and DH still working in the music industry), I've seen everyone I could possibly want to see.

There are loads that passed or broke up before I got a chance though.

@BananaPancakes: I'm seeing Mumford in June! I'm super stoked. We missed them the past 3 years because we couldn't snag tickets in time. This year, they did an email invite thing which was great and we got awesome tickets because I was stalking my email ALL day, lol. I bought them within 5 minutes of getting the email, lol.

They are pretty much my only band left that I really want to see. I wish I could've seen them when they were less famous at the smaller venue here in town, but alas...

I have seen him once, but all I want is to see Bruce Springsteen again and again and again.
Best show ever. I went with my best friend last time (tickets were a bachelorette gift) and I'd love to go with my husband.
He only has dates in Europe for the remainder of this tour- and he's getting older so I'm always scared that he won't tour again!

Hanson was #1 on my list and I saw them in 2010.

Hmmm. I am not sure who else would be on the list ...i have seen everyone that come to the top of my head.

@oliviaoblivia: oh man that sucks! i've seen them three times and the first two times they were amazing! that was like 10 years ago though, and i liked their older stuff better. i saw them again last year and it just wasn't the same. if you ever get a chance to again though, i would definitely go!

Justin Timberlake looks like he'd be an amazing performer, even though I don't listen to much of his music on a regular basis, & Coldplay... I wanna see Coldplay!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: Are you going to a Gentlemen of the Road stopover, or is it just them?

@illumina: Smashing Pumpkins would have been on my list, as well, but for some reason I thought they weren't still together. But heck, yes, if they came around, I'd absolutely want to go!

@.twist.: @MsLipGloss: A few years ago, Queen was touring with Paul Rodgers (from Bad Company) at the helm. He was no Freddie Mercury, obviously, but it was still awesome. One of the best concerts ever.

My bucket list is Mumford & Sons (D was 3 weeks old when they came to Philly - boo!), Avett Brothers, and Adele. And if we're going full wish-list, The Beatles, which can clearly never happen (sad face).

@BananaPancakes: I thought about going to the Gentlemen of the Road tour, but 3 days camping in the middle of the summer in OK (a long road trip for us) was just not what I wanted to do, lol. So it'll be a regular concert here in Austin at a new amphitheatre that was built. There was a choice of reserved seats or general admission and we got the seats. I'm so glad I don't have to wait in line in the TX summer heat! Plus, I'm short, so I can never see anything if I'm on the floor. I'm excited.

Are you doing the GotR or a regular concert?

@BananaPancakes: It looks as though they're doing a European tour in July. I recall a friend seeing them in London a year or two ago, so they must be touring regularly.

Bruno Mars
Britney Spears (seriously going to Vegas when she does her show)
I would see George Strait again too, love his songs.

I've been so far removed from the thought of going to any big arena concerts the past few years, we haven't been able to afford them either. We did take C to Roger Clyne and the Peacemakers at 10 months old, it was outdoors and on the grass, so we sat in the back where it wasn't too loud.

I'd love to see Fun., Jack Johnson, Mumford & Sons, Coldplay, oh so many more too!

I've seen Jimmy Buffett 3 times, Green Day, U2, Bare Naked Ladies, and Stone Temple Pilots were so good, I'd go to any of them again!

@littlebug: even without Freddie that sounds awesome!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: I'm seeing Mumford in June also! I didn't know about the email presale thing in time. I badgered my husband to buy them last Friday when they went on sale right at noon while I was at work. Thankfully for him ( ) he snagged them. Best husband!

I saw Garth brooks in 98- amazing show. I would see him again in a heartbeat.

If Led Zeppelin would ever reunite I would be allllll over that.
Ditto that for the Talking Heads.

I got to see jack Johnson, grace potter & the nocturnals and Mumford and sons this year, so that knocked a couple off my list!

@abbydabbydoodlebug: We're doing GotR tour in St. Augustine. No camping involved. It's just two days, but Edward Sharpe and Magnetic Zeros are playing, as well, so you can't beat it. We're staying in a hotel right across the street from the venue, and downtown St. Auggie is always a good time. I am super stoked about it.

@dagret: My parents just went to see Clapton on Easter Weekend. It was my Christmas present to them and they said it was really amazing. He turned 70 that day. That's crazy!

Also I wanna see Brad Paisley. I've seen a bunch of country, I will always go to see Kenny Chesney if I'm in town, he puts on a great show!!
