Top ten reasons I like Barney:

1. He's a dinosaur. Who doesn't love dinosaurs?
2. He only shows up when you use your imagination. Using your imagination = good.
3. He is a really good dancer, considering he's wearing a fricking dinosaur costume.
4. His voice sounds like an adult mostly, not like a really really young kid (I'm looking at you, Elmo).
5. There was a cute kid on the show and it turned out to be Selena Gomez (hat tip to YouTube Top Comments). Barney is changing lives!
6. That costume must be hot, but Barney never complains.
7. Kids are always getting sad on the show, and Barney makes sure to cheer them up. He actually gives really good advice.
8. In one episode, he traveled to outer space using his imagination. I used to do that too, and then I forgot how.
9. Charlie loves Barney and I love Charlie. Transitive property?
10. At least he says words, unlike Teletubbies.

Seriously, I have been into Barney lately and I feel like he gets unfairly slammed. So I am officially declaring myself on Team Barney.
