What are some interesting things or ways you've described carrying your child?
I've said I'm cooking or baking a baby, and I've also said I'm growing a human being.
Have you said anything odd about carrying your baby?

I often refer to my pregnancy as "growing a tiny human", or "supporting a parasite" (mostly when I am super sick).

I used to say that I was "growing a person" and said it pretty often lol.

I'm just saying we're expecting another family member. We're soooo boring!!! I look forward to hearing what other people say.

A friend of mine had awful morning sickness and when people asked her what was wrong, she used to tell them "sperm poisoning."

I used the term "cooking"- people thought it was hilarious.

Idk if it's odd but I always say im producing a crib midget.

Cooking an infant is mostly used, cooking the baby or something similar slips out as well. Today though I was complaining I was too hot, and I had said something about it not being my fault I was hatching a child... that's probably my favourite so far.

I say all kinds of strange things. "I've been implanted with an alien being", "I'm harboring a fruit basket" (I think the fruit references are funny), and DH always says that I'm "carrying his demon seed"

@Lozza: I thought your friend's respons was hilarious... DH on the other hand looked at me kinda weird and said
"sounds more like she swallowed a whole bunch..."LOL
