At the risk of sounding like a total cheeseball, the best part of my job is seeing the real, positive effects on people's lives.

@sotomorrow: @hergreenapples: Those are the best parts about my job, too!
Plus, I like that we have a small office. And everyone is super nice!

Lots of flexibility and respect from leadership. I often bypass my next two supervisors and go directly to head leadership.

I get to see DH throughout the day, I have about 2 hours of work most day, so I get to be online and do whatever I want for 6 hours lol and if I need to run home or go to the store, go get lunch, go pay a bill, etc. I can leave (and still get paid)

We get massages at the office on Tuesdays! We have to pay for them, but they are $1/minute, and we don't have to clock out while we get them.
Also, we get the week between Christmas and New Years off every year, and it's paid.

@lawbee11: That sounds awesome!
Best part of my job is: 20 vacation days, 5 Fridays off in the summer, the week between Christmas and New Year's off, + 60 sick days! (Funny that the best part of my job is not being there!)

This is a great thread!
On days when I actually have time to walk thru the galleries, I get to peruse great art (and get sneak peeks at new exhibitions) for free. And I get to bring in my friends and family whenever I want. Since admission just went up to $25 this is a great perk.
I also get discounts at the restaurants and the gift shop, which is huge. We did all our Christmas shopping there last year (and might possibly for this year too)!! Since our gift shop has awesome stuff, this is a great perk too!
I also run into museum visitors just enjoying their day very often. That's really fun to see on a day to day basis.
