Is there a way you could order the basic cake and add the top part yourself/

@Chillybear: The top part looks like maybe just a brownie with the cone on it and then maybe some extra brown frosting and then pour/drissle the hard shell ice cream chocolate down the sides. I voted that a cake like this would probably run around $50-60 here. But a basic round buttercream cake is probably only $20.

I got a quote for 24 cupcakes and that was $50 so I voted your most expensive options since it's custom.

@regberadaisy: Yes, I was shocked our local bakery wanted $66 for 2dzn cupcakes (just plain not speciality flavor or decorated). We are just going to get them from the grocery store for $17

@T.H.O.U.: haha me too! I'm going to get them from Wegmans which is always good. They'll even do colored buttercream frosting for free! I haven't decided if I'm going to take advantage of that or just get white and add some DIY toppers.

@T.H.O.U.: hahah cute!!!! Are you getting all regular sized? I think I'm going to do one dozen regular and one dozen mini for the kids since I'll also have other sweets.

@Chillybear: you could totally do this yourself! Seriously...buy a plain round cake, drizzle with ganache.....freeze store bought frosting...scoop it out with an ice cream scooper and top with a cone!
