I cannot stop coughing and it is driving me insane. I cough to the point of vomiting and pee leakage. 
Did you get any colds or viruses during your pregnancy? Did you get any relief from pregnancy safe meds? My new Dr told me to rest and stay hydrated and it should pass in 1-2 weeks...he didn't give me any advice beyond that. He isn't even a fan of cough drops...I think I might have to cheat and get some anyways.

And we've used a couple drops of Lavender in P's bath to knock out a cough as well... worked in less than a week!

@runsyellowlites: The syrup looks good but I forgot to mention I have GD and honey is a no-no. I will bookmark for after my baby is born!

@autumnlove: Boo! Well then no honey! Lavender oil is a natural expectorant & it worked really well on P's cough. She had had it for around 3 weeks, not really productive, but definitely nagging. You can get some eucalyptus oil to for any phlegm or congestion! I sat in the steamy bathroom with a few drops on a rag AND put a 2-3 drops in a pot of water on the stove simmering. Hope you start feeling better soon!

Yuck I feel your pain! I got a really bad cold early in pregnancy. I just loaded as much vitamin C and rest as I could. I got really congested too so the netty pot really helped. Feel better!

I'm on my 5th cold of pregnancy...not counting the one I had during conception. So I totally feel your pain! I hope your cough is better already, but if not, my doc okayed Robitussin cough syrup and Mucinex DM (if the cough is caused by stuff running down your throat).
