J has had a terrible cough for almost a week now. Low grade fever but on and off, never consistent and always goes down w/Tylenol. Three times now he's gone into coughing fits that have resulted in him vomiting. He gets his sensitive tag reflex from me bc I get that way when I'm really sick too. My question is-when should I take him to the doc? He's not SICK (as a kid we only went to the doctor if we were totally out of this world sick and I never went to the hospital until I gave birth). I just hate this cough but I know there's not a ton that can be done for an 18 month old and a cough

I feel awful. I didn't hear the gag/vomit. What if he'd choked? I know he's not an infant anymore but still.
