My parents had four kids, so I'm going to go ahead and say no! Unless me or Bee stopped working, and stayed at home to raise the kids (like my mom did). Then maybe we could handle it.
Could you handle the number of kids your parents had?

Yep! They just had me to worry about and I was mostly pleasant and law abiding

I am one of five kids... I used to think I wanted a big family, but now having one, I don't know how my mom did it. Two will be enough for us!
I really love being from a big family though.

My mom had 2 and I can totally handle that many. But dad had 5 but he only actually lived woth/parented 3 and I'm fairly certain I could handle that as well.

My mom and dad had 2, and so do I. My step mom though, had 5, and there is no way I could handle 5!

Well Im an only and I have 2 with one on the way so Im thinking yes lol Honestly I think its my mom who is overwhelmed when I visit with my kids and it might be because her experience with me is so different in many ways than the family I made

My parents only had two and we have two now and I think we're doing alright! My IL's had 7 though and I'm gonna go with a big fat no about that number.

Probably, but I'm 1 of 3, with a big age gap between 1 and 2/3. Not my inlaws though. They had 8. No, thank you.

They had six!! I'm sure I could handle it, but I don't want to My mom did have them spaced out over 20 years though!

My parents had four but my mom was a SAHM. DH and I are hoping for two.

My folks had two. We already have two and are planning on at least one more maybe two.

I'm an only by my mom, and we want just one, so sure! My dad had two more, but I was 14 before the first of them was born, and I didn't live with him, so I think that would be manageable too.

Yes, it's only me and my sister! We plan on having 2 unless my DH has something to say about it

My parents have 2 - I don't know if I could handle it! Contemplating now whether to just have one or try for a second.

My parents had four kids under six by the time my mom was 25! No thank you. My two are plenty right now!

My parents had 2. I would manage just fine if i stayed home and had a full time nanny like my mom did But DH and I both work and the situation is very different, obviously. We'll probably have 3.

Probably. There were 2 of us, me and my younger brother. We haven't decided if we're stopping at 1 or going for 2.

You would never know that my parents had 4 kids. Every tine we visit them with 18 month lo they are clearly overwhelmed. I could do 4 if i stayed home and spaced them out. I want to keep working though, so 2 is my max.

I could handle 4 but I would strongly prefer not to- especially of it means four pregnancies.
wonderful olive / 19353 posts
My parents had 2 so yes since that's the minimum we want also.

Yes, they had 3 (girls) which I have a feeling if we have a 3rd we would be mirroring. I really don't want 3 girls, talk about DRAMA with 3 teenager girls in the house, but I could do it and heck we might if DH gets his way! ha

I'm one of 4 girls, all with less than 2 years in between. I've always wanted 4 kids myself and I'd like to think I could handle it, but with only one so far I'm pretty daunted! I think it depends how easy the next few are.

Mine had three we could definitely handle that.
FIL had nine and we will no way no how handle nine.
MIL had three and couldn't handle it. She stayed home and had two live in nannies. I guess I could handle nine if I had "staff."
