I was surprised by my family members that could NOT figure out the ultrasound photos! Especially the ones that were pretty obviously a profile shot. I was a serial googler during my first pregnancy so I think I could have read a ton of different ultrasounds..it helped me feel more prepared going in.

I could but my husband often could not for DD1 and forget the grand parents. They were even more hopeless!

I mean, we could tell where the head was and stuff, especially in the pictures. My husband was in med school when I wa pregnant, and thought the heart was a penis at the anatomy scan. So....detail? Nope.

Some. But they've pointed out the girl bits at like 3 different ultrasounds now and I still don't get it, lol!

I mostly get them, but my husband and my dad do not! DH called my 20 week scan a "moving Rorschach."

Yes, I can totally tell what stuff is unless it's like the kidneys or something. But grandparents have trouble.

Big things yes, mostly. But some of the pictures they printed for us I still can't tell. Forget telling the girl parts- I just trust that since she was pointing something out she knew what she was talking about.

Most of it. DH can read ultrasounds and figured out the genders before the tech told us.

I can, and also saw the gender before the sonographer. My dad can't, and DH can only sometimes. I also googled a lot too though, and I'm a visual thinker.

By the end with L, we were pros. But we had a zillion with R and L both, so we got a LOT of practice.
