Haha. Sorry for all these home questions!
Which do you prefer? A countertop range or one that's all in one?

Ours is kinda odd. We have a countertop stove (glass top electric) and then a built in oven (but its directly below).
I would prefer for the stove and oven to be in separate locations but our kitchen isn't big enough. I do love that it is built into the cabinets though.

I love counter-top ranges and then double ovens on the wall.

@Thehistoryofus: that's what we have at our current place! countertop and oven right below.
@Smurfette: ditto!

Countertop range and double ovens. I only have one oven and wish I had two!

I separated mine when we renovated the kitchen last year. I enjoy having my oven at a higher location so I don't have to bend over to get the food out of the oven.
A friend of mine said that she cooks a lot of things that require her to move pots directly from the stovetop to the oven. So she would never want my setup. She prefers the oven right below the cooktop.
It's all personal preference

@chopsuey119: @MediaNaranja: @MsLipGloss: I was so excited at first cause I thought our new house had a double oven, but at the 2nd viewing discovered that the top is a microwave/convection oven. But that is better then just a microwave. And under the stop top we have a warming tray!

@Smurfette: Ditto on the arrangement! And your setup is freaking awesome - warming tray?! Brilliant!
My current stove is range and oven in one, and when I heat up my oven, the glass top also gets warm. It also gets really warm on my belly if the oven is going and I'm cooking something else on the stove top.

We have a counter top range and double ovens. I love it! The only thing better would be if my range was gas instead off a ceramic cook top.

@MamaMoose: ooh! That's what I want. Electric is harder to cook with, my next house will for sure need gas.

@Smurfette: this is what my parents are putting in. Awake oven and a microwave/ convection oven combo also on that wall.
