What the heck kind of job is this???

Wow so crazy! Hope it's for a really good job!

Those job interivew questionnaires are so annoying! I've never heard of a question about being hung over though. That is funny!

It's a personality test; they're used either when a) the company hiring gets a ton of applications so they can minimize turnover rates (like Sunglasses Hut or Best Buy) or b) it's a job that requires a very specific personality type (in this case, probably someone who is objective, reasoning, unemotional, etc...). There aren't any "right" answers, persay; it's more of an overall personality fit, they're looking for.

I had to take a test like that once (in the U.S.). I thought it was weird at the time, but actually, they're super popular in Mexico (where I now live). For almost every job you have to take one. Like @Honeybee says, it's a personality test/profile. They call it a psychometric exam.

On the one I took, one question was, "Have you ever gotten so angry you wanted to break something?" I answered yes because I am painfully honest, but I didn't get an interview. But I mean, who doesn't at least WANT to break something once in awhile?

@jedeve: Yes, I do think it's like a mind game because you start to think they're trying to trip you up or beat the system or something. And the repeated questions are so annoying. Like you forgot you already told them you had knowingly done something wrong 3 times.

Very weird, I dont like questionnaires like that.
