Oh man. I was off my rocker! We were house shopping when I was 8 months pregnant and it came down to two houses. The first was new construction and small in the middle of a subdivision - pretty much the OPPOSITE of everything I want in a house - but it was cheaper and didn't have room for tons of baby crap that I was afraid I was going to be smothered with. It had been on the market for a year but another offer came in and was accepted hours before ours! Thank. Goodness. We bought house number two which has been perfect for us and that I absolutely love now.
After L was born and we were settled into our new home I realized what an awful decision I had nearly made and asked J why on earth he let me do it to us. He said, "And what should I have said to change your mind?" .......Right...... There's probably nothing he could have said. I had the bit in my teeth and was out of my mind. We now have a rule that I am not allowed to make big decisions while pregnant.

I discovered the side mirror on our car had been bashed in when I went to drive (alone) to a breast feeding class. I texted DH my discovery when I parked at the class and then informed him that he should have it fixed by the time I got home. (Easy to fix something on the car when your spouse is out driving it, right) I got in my head that if I acted SUPER upset DH would fix it immediately. I exploded like an anger bomb when I got home and he told me he ordered a part online and it would arrive 2 days later. His mom was visiting from out of state and probably not impressed with my behavior.

My friend forbid her husband from celebrating father's day while she was pregnant because "it wasn't about him until the baby was born." We tried to remind her that he already had another kid (that she treats as her own) but it fell on deaf ears.
