Cora (or Kora)
We came across this name when we were searching for older girl names (so it goes well with DD's name), and DH liked this one out of all of the names we looked at.

I love it!
The only "bad" thing I can think of is it's the name of the evil queen in 'Once Upon a Time'. But, I doubt that would ever come back to haunt her

Coralie/Coralee has become a recent favorite of mine.

Cora is a good name. I wouldn't do the K spelling though as it evokes Koran (which is fine but probably not what you are going for).

I love it! I think it goes great with your DD's name. I also like Coraline.

LOVE Cora. There's a popular restaurant chain around here names Cora's so Dh wouldn't consider it. But it is one of my top faves!

@Mrs. Pen: Oh I didn't even think of those versions - I think those are beautiful.... DH already put the snuff on Coraline

It's a very popular Greek name so I am partial to it (my dad is Greek, although I wasn't raised with him). Keep in mind, it is regarded in Greek mythology (does anyone care?) as being associated with the name: Persephone, who is the goddness of death. I don't think anyone knows that or cares though.
I've never seen it spelled Kora nor do I like that at all.
Cora is beautiful. Especially with W's name.

DD was almost Coraline, Cora for short. It's on our list for #2. I think it is beautiful.

Love it! It's a consideration for me for our next one. My great-grandmas name was Cora Lena.
Definitely the traditional spelling though. Not a fan of Korah.

@TurtleDoves: I'm from the maritimes in canada , but it would be the same breakfast chain as in TO. Mmmmm I love Cora's!

I ::really:: like it. It has a vintage charm that appeals to me. {C over K spelling.}

I really like the Cora spelling! It think it's a really sweet name. @TurtleDoves: I had no clue it was a Greek name, we must have skipped right over it when we were looking for Greek names for DD.

@Mrs. Jacks: @loveisstrange: @Littlebit: @rahlyrah: What if it was Kora instead? DH brought that up because my name starts with a "K" and he wants her to have something of mine.
