My best friend and I are both pregnant and due in August. My birthday is in a few weeks, and we're having a few of our close friends over and we're both planning to tell them that night (one lives out of town so we're waiting until we can tell them in person). We want to do something cute and fun--not just "ok sit down we have something to tell you." We're the first of our group of friends to have babies, and I think they will be shocked that both of us are pregnant! Anyone have any ideas??

Don't know if you told your friends yet or not, but some of our good friends told us by having us over for dinner. We had baby back ribs, baby potatoes, baby carrots, etc. when w sat down they asked us if we could figure out the theme for the dinner. It was really cute!

You could always gift each other something baby-related, or do the quintessential "group photo" where you all pose and someone secretly records while yelling out "Everyone say lawbee-and-friend-are-going-to-have-babies"

I think a cute idea would be to take a group photo of you guys and right before the picture is taken (like, have your DH count to 3 or whatever as he's taking it), you could both say 'We're pregnant!' Then you'd have a record of your friends' faces

@Trailmix: @SweetMamaM: I love this idea!! "Say [Lawbee and friend] are pregnant!". If one of you stands either side of the group - or next to each other - and makes rocking-a-baby poses or heart shapes with your hands over your bellies - then everyone will turn to look at you both when whoever is taking the photo says the line! You'll get all their looks of surprise and capture the exact moment you told them on a photo!!!
