Date night now entails getting a babysitter on not so prime nights (Monday) and doing something on the cheap (snowboarding the last two hours the hills are open and gourmet burgers a la Groupon).
That was yesterday's date night for us...totaling $67 (including 3 hours of babysitting).
Anyone have any interesting date nights? Any fun cheap dates?

@caffeinated: well once when i was in college (years and years and years ago lol) i went out with this kid that took me to McDonalds' and share 20 pieces of Chicken Nuggets with me...now can we call that cheap? I think so lol..never saw this kid after that, besides i think he was high...it was the worst blind date ever!!!!

We've done brunch before on a Sunday AM - breakfast tends to be cheaper than getting dinner. Other than that we just walk around the mall and window shop...it's nice not to feel rushed or be pushing a stroller!

for our date nights we take LO to my mom orhis mom, our most recent one was a company dinner party. But other than that, we dont have a lot of date nights without LO

We do date nights at home after C has gone to bed. We get dressed up and I make dinner and we crack a bottle of wine and play board games. lol

Grandparents are here this week, so we get date night tonight! We don't get sitters, usually just a bottle of wine after dinner and a board game or rented movie, so we are going for a nice dinner tonight!
