I am going to be in DC for a few days next week for work and will have a little bit of time to sight see. I'm staying at a hotel on Pennsylvania Ave. right near the White House, I won't have a rental car.

I've been there once before, not during the holidays, and only walked by the White House and around the National Mall, popping into a few museums.

Any recommendations on must-see places during the holidays in DC that are nearby my hotel?
