I’ve posted about this but I’m so hopeful for December. I’ll have two twws in December, it’s my birthday at the start and an early December positive would put a due date very close to my late Mom’s birthday. I’m going to stay positive this cycle!

And if it doesn’t work right away maybe the second cycle at the end will work too!

Holiday plans: DH and I will be in Vienna for Christmas. Christmas Eve Mass to hear the Vienna Boys Choir is the reason for the trip - it’s on DH’s bucket list. Hoping for beautiful snowy days for a romantic holiday.

Favorite Holiday dish: I love to bake. My mom and I would make Christmas cookies for weeks before Christmas. Having and passing on those kinds of traditions are what motivate me to keep trying for a baby even as the road is long at this point. So my favorite cookie recipe are Molasses Sugar Cookies - they aren’t fancy but so warm and wonderful at the holidays.

@bhbee: thank you! I’m lonely over here but hopeful this month will be kind to me. I’d so love to have an August baby. But I know the timing isn’t of my choice. About ready to start some BD. DH just wants to try EOD for two weeks - he doesn’t like the we need to tonight and the next three nights attempts. Because I need him on board, we are just going to relax and try for EOD for as many times as we can this cycle. No idea if it will work, but I’m figuring it can’t really hurt.

@Ms.Mermaid: welcome! And peppermint meringues sound amazing! I might have to find a recipe and make some this year.

@Raspberry: thanks for joining. I have my fingers crossed for you. Love the tree being up - I couldn’t do it this early since I don’t have kids but I could see my DH caving if we had a three year old who adored the holidays.

Cd 11 and I just got a blazing positive opk. Definitely earlier than the last few months. Glad DH and I have been engaging in BD EOD since cd 7 with this early of a positive. Just going for EOD BD this cycle but I’m glad it’s already “scheduled” for tonight with a positive opk just now .

@chypmunk: right! I’m looking forward to it tonight. Then probably Sunday morning as we leave for Spain early Sunday afternoon. Then it’s vacation and relaxation on the beach so BD should be good to go a few more times since I don’t temp and don’t exactly know how long after a positive opk that I ovulate.

Still feeling hope for this cycle!

@MamaBear87: so true. It would be too much work. Also I’m afraid I’ll get too neurotic about it so I’m not going to start temping.

@MamaBear87: omg. I totally can relate. My husband so rolled his eyes at opks. He thought I was going overboard. Doesn’t like it and doesn’t like trying to time sex to a positive one. He mentioned it to me this month when asking can we just go a stretch of BD EOD instead.

@MamaBear87: lol. Must be a man thing!

I’m so hoping this cycle will be it - but if it does happen I’ll hear from the husband how he was right along that sex doesn’t have to be timed.

Fellow Wives - have to share this one moment on our drive to Spain. We brought our dog and she got so sick at one point. Terrible diarrhea that she couldn’t control. My DH got covered in dog poop one time because he snatched her up - then he was so upset - so in the rest stop parking lot he’s yelling at me that we should never have kids cause they’ll be even worse than a sick dog. You’d have been proud of me - I didnt even snicker even though it was actually pretty hysterical (granted I find ways to laugh all the time - and i didn’t have dog poop on me).
