I had 3 shots of lidocaine to have a tooth pulled while pregnant. My dentist and OB both said it's perfectly safe. I also was told lortab was safe to use after for pain if needed as long as it wasn't long term. Luckily, I only needed to take it 1 time. I'm a freak about taking anything I don't need while preggo!
