Does he have any hobbies? Could you get him an experience type gift so that he can have a day away. Golf, skiing, etc.

Does he play video games? Could be the equivalent of giving pamper time. Also it says I trust you to not abandon baby/me and just play games because you have been awesome.

Does he like sweets? Chocolate can be a good gift for men too. Or a bottle of something nice if he's a liquor guy.

I agree with something that is a "treat" for him -- like a round of golf, range time, something to support a hobby. Or booze 
My husband always appreciates a nice bottle of bourbon.
