Did you keep a diary when you were younger? Did your parents/siblings read it?

Yes, I did and my mom totally read it and would discuss it with me. The worst.

My mom encouraged both my brother and I to keep diaries to help our writing skills, even bought us special pretty notebooks to use as diaries. Later I found out she did so specifically to find them and read them and learn all our secrets. Haha... she is so sneaky.

yes i think they're great. i kept them from elementary through college even. when i would go back and read them, they would crack me up! i was so immature haha. i wish i still had them.

I always tried but could never keep up with it.

I kept diaries and still have one from high school. I cringe when I read it. I have things written like, "Today so-and-so broke up with me and I think I'm going to die. I LOVE HIM!" OMG...*hiding under the covers*

@Rubies: hahahah I'm so glad I lost all of my diaries. Omg I feel itchy!! Food was so delicious though

I would always start them but never had more than a couple days of entries.
